1. What do I photograph?

What Do I Photograph?

Life doesn't fit neatly into categories, and neither do the people I photograph.

Whether you're celebrating an engagement, graduating, growing your business, updating professional headshots, documenting your family, or simply wanting portraits that capture who you are in this season of life, I'd love to help tell your story.

Every session is a little different because every person is different. Some are joyful and energetic, others are quiet and reflective. Some celebrate a major milestone, while others exist simply because you deserve to be in front of the camera.

Whatever brings you here, my goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel authentic, timeless, and unmistakably you.

2. Can I make you look good?

Everyone thinks they're awkward in front of the camera.

Almost everyone tells me they don't know how to pose, that they're uncomfortable having their picture taken, or that they're worried they won't look natural.

That's exactly why I'm here.

You don't need modeling experience or a Pinterest board full of ideas. I'll guide you through your entire session with natural prompts, gentle direction, and plenty of encouragement. Before long, you'll stop thinking about the camera altogether—and that's when the best photographs happen.

Quick highlights:

No modeling experience required

Natural posing and movement

Relaxed, encouraging atmosphere

We'll laugh a lot

You'll leave wondering why you were ever nervous

3. Will you enjoy this?

Portrait sessions shouldn't feel like work.

My goal is for your session to feel more like spending time together than standing in front of a camera. We'll walk, talk, laugh, and create space for genuine moments instead of stiff poses.

By the end of the session, most people tell me,

"That was actually fun."

4. Will I love my photos?

I want you to see yourself the way the people who love you already do.

I want your gallery to feel genuine—not overly posed or trendy—and filled with images you'll be excited to print, frame, share, and revisit for years to come.

After all, your photographs deserve to live somewhere more meaningful than a phone screen.

5. Investment

Every portrait session begins with a creative session fee that includes your time together, my planning and expertise, professional editing, and a collection of high-resolution digital images.

Some clients are perfectly happy with beautiful digital images to print on their own, while others choose to preserve their memories through handcrafted albums, framed artwork, keepsake boxes, or gifts for family. Your online gallery makes it easy to order as much—or as little—as you'd like.
